The following websites were created to fulfill assignment requirements for courses at Rasmussen College and have not been edited since being submitted to the instructor for grading. This will allow you to see what I was able to accomplish within the time-frame of the, mostly self-taught, course.
The first site I created was for an assignment with a two-week deadline, in my Intro to HTML class. I gained experience working with images in this class. The site is basic and clumsy, being my first site and having such a short time constraint, but I do like where I was going with the design and color scheme. http://www.scharwebdev.com/scharWebForestFarms/index.html
The second site I created was also for my Intro to HTML class but it was a course project that lasted the duration of the 5.5 week course. I spent a lot of time creating a custom header, with no instruction or assistance, I was able to create a division with links inside the header picture background. It’s not to my design standards but I needed to move on in order to meet the requirements within the deadline.

The third site that I created was for a 5.5 week long, Web Frameworks, class where I gained experience using the MVC architecture. I used php for the back-end. The node.js architecture and jade files can be found on my Github page.

This site was created in less than five and a half weeks for Mobile Application Development class, using jQuery mobile. I am most proud of this site because the overall finished product is closer to my standards, however, the assignment requirements left me with a site that is unusable professionally.

I expanded on an existing site for my Capstone class but I may have had too lofty of goals for the 5.5 week course. This site was fully functional and connected to the database that I also created.
